Volvic stone warmed by the sun after rain inspired Obsidial®, the accord that gives Métarosme its mineral character. Pierre Guillaume imagines rose through shifting impressions of light and wood. The name combines metamorphosis, rose and osmosis, suggesting a flower transformed into a less familiar scent.

The Rose-Météore accord intertwines with redwood and the mineral warmth of Obsidial®. Grisalva contributes a salty, balsamic nuance reminiscent of ambergris. Aquatic and spicy impressions from Obsidial® run through the composition, while the rose retains its floral character.

Métarosme balances the refinement of the flower with minerals and wood. Salt and aquatic nuances coexist with balsamic warmth, so the fragrance is neither simply cold nor warm. The rose remains recognisable in this more abstract interpretation, whose dry, woody and spicy character takes precedence over familiar fruity or petal-like softness.
