Volupté Noire Eau de Parfum

Volupté Noire imagines ambrosia, the mythical food of the gods, as flowers and honey with dark, animalic sensuality. It is inspired by euphorbia honey from Morocco’s High Atlas, whose scent combines rich floral nectar with an unusually forceful character. The name comes from Baudelaire’s poem À une Madone.

Bergamot, davana and Medjoul date create a bright, rich opening. Lime blossom, acacia and jasmine intertwine with the sweet, tannic nuances of black oak. Euphorbia honey, amber and musk add balsamic warmth and animalic character, with the flowers remaining clearly perceptible.

The sweetness suggests abundant nectar, made more sensual by wood and musk, almost like the warmth of fur. Volupté Noire is intense and expressive: honey and dates enrich the flowers instead of replacing them with a single sugary accord. Its softness comes from the rich closeness of flowers and amber.
